I see what you are saying. If the date is today through a week later, it shows up in the format:
Starts: Today at 9:00 PM EST
Starts: Tuesday at 9:00 PM EST
etc.
More than 7 days from now, the date/time displays as Starts: 02/27/2015 EST
The routine that formats the date as something in MM/DD/YYYY format (not sure if there are localization rules that might render it differently like DD/MM/YYYY or YYYY-MM-DD) isn't appending the time before appending the time zone, but the routine that either displays "Today" or some weekday is fetching the time in building the string.
I really like the localization on time zone. It must get that from your browser settings or something. I didn't notice at first because the old system had you enter the time in EST (even though SCE is based in the PST time zone). Our tourney owner told me that he saw everything listed in PST time which is how I came to know. That will be nicer for our global users who always wonder when tourneys are because they don't know what 9PM EST is in their local time zone.
I only set 2 tournies to try things out. They were set for 2016 and have CET. It's confusing when the time zone is behind the date.
I am in the Netherlands and we have American and European members. I can live with times in either time zone, but I need to know which zone it's actually in.
